On Monday, June 23rd, ISM's president and chief scientific officer, Dr. Alexey Peshkovsky, will speak about scalable ultrasonic manufacturing of nano-formulations for enhanced pharmacokinetic performance of bioactive compounds. 

The presentation will focus on ultrasonic manufacturing of [nano-formulations](https://blog.sonomechanics.com/blog/highly-concentrated-nanoemulsions-with-sub-100-nm-droplets-heres-how-to-make-them) to improve the [bioavailability](https://blog.sonomechanics.com/blog/ultrasonic-production-of-nano-cannabinoids)of poorly water-soluble bioactives. It will also describe how these [liquid](https://www.sonomechanics.com/nanostabilizer-lt/)and [powder ](https://www.sonomechanics.com/nanostabilizer-lso/)nanoemulsions can be efficiently scaled up for commercial production using ISM’s Barbell Horn® Ultrasonic Technology ([BHUT](https://www.sonomechanics.com/barbell-horn-ultrasonic-technology/)) without compromising formulation quality or performance.

He holds a B.A. degree in chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania and a Ph.D. degree in physical chemistry from Columbia University. With over 25 years of experience as a researcher, entrepreneur, product developer, and scientific director, Dr. Peshkovsky's work has primarily focused on instrumentation design and process development across multiple industries.

Dr. Peshkovsky is the primary author of numerous scientific papers, patents, conference presentations, and books.
