We extend our sincere thanks to the organizers for hosting a successful inaugural event and to all the attendees, many of whom ISM President and Chief Scientific Officer, Dr. Alexey Peshkovsky, had the pleasure of meeting throughout the conference. In his address, Dr. Peshkovsky also highlighted how ISM's patented [**Barbell Horn® Ultrasonic Technology (BHUT)**](https://www.sonomechanics.com/barbell-horn-ultrasonic-technology/) addresses longstanding scale-up challenges that have historically limited industrial implementation of high-amplitude ultrasound, and that by enabling continuous-flow processing at industrial scale, BHUT can help manufacturers improve process efficiency, formulation flexibility, and product quality.
