![2016 ultrasonics conference in Portugal.png](https://blog.sonomechanics.com/hs-fs/hubfs/General_Images/usc-1.png?width=374&name=usc-1.png "usc-1.png")We are happy to announce that Industrial Sonomechanics (ISM) will be presenting at the "2nd International Conference on Ultrasonic-Based Applications: From Analysis to Synthesis" (**[ULTRASONICS-2016](http://www.ultrasonics2016.com/)**) in Caparica, Portugal, where [**Dr. Alexey Peshkovsky**](http://sonomechanics.com/about_ism/our_team/) will give a talk, entitled *"High-Intensity Ultrasonic Liquid Processing on Laboratory, Bench and Industrial Scales."*

The presentation will focus on high-intensity ultrasonic processing as an attractive technology for such processes as emulsification, cell disruption, extraction, degassing, and many more. It will also describe how those processes can be scaled up by using ISM's Barbell Horn® Ultrasonic Technology (BHUT) without any reduction in the final product quality.

Prior to joining ISM, Iva was a Tennis Professional and has managed tennis clubs’ programs in several locations in NY. She has also worked in wealth management, technology and pharmaceuticals industries. Iva has proven experience in building customer relationships and delivering marketing strategies.
