We are excited to announce that Industrial Sonomechanics (ISM) been awarded a $306,865 Phase I Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant from the Department of Health and Human Services, National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH).

We are thrilled to announce that Industrial Sonomechanics (ISM) has been granted a new patent by the United States Patent and Trademark Office!

This achievement marks a significant expansion of ISM's intellectual property portfolio. The patent specifically covers several new embodiments of our groundbreaking high-amplitude Barbell Horns® technology, which are crucial to the superior performance and efficiency of our ultrasonic processors.

The demand for water-soluble mushroom extracts is surging, driven by the growing interest in their therapeutic, health-promoting benefits. Water-soluble extracts are highly desirable due to their enhanced, rapid absorption and ease of incorporation into various consumer products such as beverages, foods, and nutritional supplements [1].

Producing water-soluble mushroom extracts in liquid or powdered forms involves two important processing steps: (1) extraction of the bioactive compounds from mushrooms and (2) their subsequent nano-emulsification to achieve aqueous solubility. Industrial Sonomechanics (ISM) has perfected these processes to ensure that our customers can manufacture the highest-quality finished products infused with water-soluble mushroom extracts. 

Industrial Sonomechanics® (ISM) has recently completed a groundbreaking pre-clinical pharmacokinetic study, comparing two orally administered Δ8-THC nanoemulsions (liquid and powdered) with a Δ8-THC solution in MCT oil. The results demonstrate considerable advantages of nanoemulsions produced with ISM's ultrasonic equipment and NanoStabilizers®, and are detailed in our latest manuscript, currently in press at AAPS PharmSciTech, an official journal of The American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists.

This marks the industry's first pre-clinical study of Δ8-THC nanoemulsions, which was conducted and published in collaboration with Verdient Science, LLC.
